For 1998, 24in. unsighted nitro barrel engraved in gothic script 'J. Rigby & Co. London. England', the receiver (with thumb cutout) mounted with a Swarovski 2,5-10x56 Habicht telescopic sight, serial no. P651418583, the rings engraved 'J. RIGBY & CO. LONDON' and '7m/m REM MAG NO. 6840', the receiver ring engraved 'CALIBRE 7m/m REMINGTON MAGNUM' and 'MADE IN ENGLAND', the side wall engraved 'DEUTSCHE WAFFEN - UND MUNITIONSFABRIKEN BERLIN', bolt sleeve and cocking piece colour-hardened and with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, bolt knob with round chequered panels and central floral motif, floral engraved recoil blocks, hinged straddle floorplate with push button release and gold-inlaid with the calibre designation in a roundel, the triggerguard gold-inlaid with the serial number, well-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, pistolgrip-cap, sling swivels, inlet insert repair at heel, 14 1/4in. pull, weight 9lb. 15oz.
