series 22 circa 1941, with 26 1/4in. blued barrel, blade fore-sight with side-protectors, elevating ladder rear-sight with additional peep aperture, blued rounded receiver with intact chrysanthemum and shiki to the nocksform, blued straight-handled bolt with knurled cocking piece to rear, no dust cover, Mauser-style bolt release and walnut full-stock with two-piece construction to butt and blued iron furniture, 12 1/2in. pull, sling swivels, weight 7lb. 15oz.
