A CASED .177 WESTLEY RICHARDS SECOND MODEL 'HIGHEST POSSIBLE' AIR-PISTOL, serial no. 999,
circa 1912, 13in. overall with 9 1/2in. rifled barrel, chequered hard-rubber grips, air cylinder stamped 'WESTLEY RICHARDS "HIGHEST POSSIBLE" AIR PISTOL' on three lines, frame with patent number and date, also marked 'WESTLEY RICHARDS & COY, LONDON W' on two lines, the whole retaining the majority of its older refinish, in a later wood case adapted for this air-pistol and with reproduction trade-label inside lid, a vintage oiler and Wesley Richards marked spanner and pellet probe combined (probably unassociated)
