circa 1805, with 43 1/4in. octagonal to sixteen-sided to round barrel signed 'LONDON' on the top-flat, bead fore-sight, twin white metal lines at breech, foliate engraved top-tang, lined touch-hole, borderline engraved lock with moulded edge and signed 'COURT' below the rainproof pan, swan-necked cock and roller frizzen-spring, walnut half-stock chequered at the wrist, iron furniture, twin barrel-keys with white metal escutcheons and wood ramrod with horn tip (currently detached but present)
