A PAIR OF 32-BORE FLINTLOCK RIFLED TRAVELLING PISTOLS SIGNED W. BOND, LONDON, no visible serial numbers,
circa 1810, with plain round 2 1/4in. turn-off barrels rifled with seven grooves, brass actions with squared bodies engraved with stands of flags and trophies signed 'W. Bond' on the left and 'LOMBARD STREET LONDON' on the right (cleaned, some loss to engraved detail), sliding safes to the top-tangs (one missing sidebars), central cocks and roller frizzens, concealed automatic triggers and slab-sided walnut butts with octagonal escutcheons engraved 'I.H.'
