circa 1900, 25in. nitro reproved (in 2023) barrel, engraved 'JOHN RIGBY & CO. 27. ST. JAMES'S ST. LONDON.', block-mounted bead fore-sight, block-mounted open rear sight with two folding leaf sights marked for 100, 200 and 300 yards and with white metal inlaid sight lines, Mauser action with thumb cutout numbered 2602, the receiver ring engraved 'WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER. OBERNDORF A/N. 1900', and fitted with Parker Hale A22 & A28 telescopic sight mount bases, the bolt with adjustable peep sight, the floorplate with military style release, figured semi-pistolgrip half-stock, 15 1/8in. pull including chequered buttplate, weight 7lb. 7oz.
