A PRE WORLD WAR ONE GERMAN FIRE-BRIGADE OFFICIAL'S DRESS DAGGER,
circa 1910, with narrow 15 3/4in. double-edged blade etched with floral scrolls within arabesque borders and trophies of fire-fighting equipment, early style Eickhorn trademark to ricasso, white metal cross-guard with carved quillions and central rectangular panels featuring a ladder and a fire-hook to the front with a starburst to the reverse, spirally carved black celluloid grip with banded ferrules and carved rococo pommel, complete with its portapee knot and black leather scabbard with plated mounts
