AN 18-BORE FLINTLOCK HORSE-PISTOL, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
possibly Dutch, circa 1760, with heavily cleaned iron 13 3/8in. barrel, traces of carved rib, engraving and a rubbed out brass makers poincon, solid squared top-tang, carved and engraved bevel-edged lock with radiused and pointed tail, carved hammer, grooved frizzen, walnut full-stock (small losses, cracks and some re-modelling), cast brass furniture with relief carved marshal trophies and probable replacement ebony ramrod with brass tip
