early 19th century, with 7 1/2in. double-edged blade swelling slightly towards the tip, ivory hilt carved with oriental dragons ans stylised masks, bronze pommel nut, complete with its ivory scabbard carved with geometric designs and fitted with two suspension bands, one missing loop (blade pitted and cleaned)
