LEICESTER.' and with a flash of scroll at the breech end, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/4 choke, treble-grip action with carved percussion fences, rebounding locks, the action, lockplates and furniture profusely engraved with foliate and acanthus scroll engraving interspersed with game scene vignettes, retaining traces of colour-hardening and finish, 15in. figured stock (very slight crack at hand) including 1in. rubber recoil pad, weight 6lb. 13oz.
