28in. replacement nitro barrels (circa 1983), rib engraved 'SMITH MIDGLEY & CO.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke, treble-grip action, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, bold acanthus scroll engraving, brushed and blued finish overall, 14 5/8in. figured stock, cast on for the left shoulder, including 5/8in. ebonite extension, light damage to fore-end wood, weight 7lb., in a brass-cornered leather case
