BOROVNIK FERLACH', with open sights and ramp-mounted bead fore-sight, the breech end mounted with a Zeiss Diavari VM 2,5-10x50 T* telescopic sight in quickly-detachable mounts, three piece fore-end with wooden side-fillets, quadruple grip action with oak leaf and acorn designs carved in high relief on the side bolsters, automatic safety, cocking-indicators, set front trigger, fine Germanic scroll engraving, the sideplates carved in high relief with a woodland scene of roe deer on the left and a mountain scene of chamois on the right, the underside with a lone mouflon, signed 'Obiltschnig', the triggerguard gold-inlaid with a monogram 'PK', old silver finish, 14 5/8in. well-figured pistolgrip stock with sculpted cheekpiece, fishscale chequering, sling swivels, horn pistolgrip-cap and buttplate, weight 9lb., in its lightweight leather case (no provision for 'scope)
