29 1/2in. nitro chopperlump barrels (No.2 replacements in 1976), the ribs engraved 'J. PURDEY & SONS. AUDLEY HOUSE. SOUTH AUDLEY STREET. LONDON. ENGLAND.' and gold-inlaid '1' and '2' (truncated) at the breech ends, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke (No.1) true cyl. and 1/4 choke (No.2), self-opening actions, removable striker discs, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, 'arrow' cocking-indicators, fine bouquet and acanthus scroll engraving surrounding vignettes of hound flushing game, the undersides with vignettes of cranes and rabbit, brushed and blued finish, pins reblued, 14 5/8in. stocks (No.1 including 1in. ventilated rubber recoil pad, No.2 including 1in. wooden extension and 7/8in. ventilated rubber recoil pad and with crack to left overhorn), weight 6lb. 15oz.
