circa 1937, with 25 1/4in. sighted barrel fitted with rare commercially manufactured sling mounts allowing unobstructed removal and a fore-sight protector, bolt-action barrel lock, receiver fitted with adjustable peep-sight, plain air-chamber, plain trigger-unit without safety catch but fitted with external trigger adjustment, chequered walnut saw-handled butt-stock and horn heel-plate, much original finish remaining but the whole with speckled surface corrosion
