A SCARCE 16-BORE FLINTLOCK ALL-BRASS 'MANSTOPPER' POCKET-PISTOL, no visible serial number,
circa 1800, with octagonal to round banded cannon barrel flaring at the muzzle, squared boxlock central hammer action with borderline engraving, the left side signed in a rectangular frame surrounded by a starburst 'HILL', the right 'LONDON', sliding safe to the top-tang, walnut slab-sided butt, trigger with engraved iron guard and Birmingham proofs
