30in. nitro reproved barrel (in 2017), engraved 'SPENCER ARMS CO. WINDSOR. CT. U.S.A. PAT. APR. 1882.', bead fore-sight, 2 1/2in. chamber, bored approx. 1/2 choke, Spencer & Roper patent action, US patent no. 255,894 / UK patent no. 1636 of 1882, with pivoted breech block, damascus tubular magazine (restricted) with exterior sliding handle which operates loading and ejecting cartridges and cocks the hammer, the triggerguard housing a secondary reversed trigger which also cocks the hammer, plain blacked action, 13 1/2in. semi-pistolgrip stock (cracked), with bakelite buttplate, weight 7lb. 9oz.
