A WERY-ENGRAVED 12-BORE 'BOSS TYPE' SINGLE-TRIGGER OVER AND UNDER SIDELOCK EJECTOR, serial no. 43408,
27 5/8in. (70cm) nitro barrels with 9mm ventilated file cut top-rib (slightly dented), gold-inlaid '1' at the breech end, over barrel engraved 'AUG. LEBEAU - COURALLY. ARMES DE GRANDE LUXE - LIEGE', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/2 choke, three-piece fore-end with wooden side fillets, hold-open toplever, manual safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, gold-washed tumbler pivots and some blued lockpins, non-selective single trigger, profusely engraved with fine scrolling acanthus with beaded bordering, the lockplates and underside with stylised coronets, the triggerplate signed 'H. WERY - GRAVEUR', bright finish, 14 5/8in. highly-figured stock (crack to right underhorn), weight 6lb. 14oz.
