circa 1880 and containing a comprehensive selection of military and sporting rounds and cases including examples for muzzle-loading guns, pinfire, rimfire and central fire together with caps, railway and cannon detonators including rare 4-bore cases in drawn brass and gas-tight versions, 'Snider' and 'Martini Henri' (sic) rounds, bullets for 'Whitworth Hexagonal' and 'Winchester' rifles, rook-rifle, pinfire and Boxer revolvers, the backing paper annotating each round (some water stains and insect damage, wood frame and outer back-board restored)
