A 12-BORE 'CLASS B' SIDELOCK EJECTOR, serial no. 16206,
27 1/2in. nitro reproved barrels (likely shortened), the rib engraved in gothic script 'JOHN RIGBY & CO. 72 ST. JAMES'S STREET. LONDON. & AT DUBLIN.', (faint) and 'B', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke, pitting internally and partially repaired minor bulge left tube, treble-grip action with removable striker discs, action number 2248, slender toplever, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, dipped-edge lockplates, bold acanthus scroll engraving with feathered bordering, retaining slight traces of colour-hardening, 15 1/8in. stock including 3/4in. wooden extension, fore-end with grip-catch release lever, weight 6lb. 8oz.
