VT.' and with acanthus detailing at the breech-end, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke, manual safety with gold-inlaid 'S' detail, articulated front trigger with optional use as a single trigger, best fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets and game scene vignettes of ptarmigan and grouse on the left, woodcock and snipe on the right, the underside with a lone capercaillie signed 'F. FRACASSI', the triggerplate signed 'A. CONTESSA.', bright and blued finish overall, 14 1/4in. diamond gripped highly-figured stock with flat-top chequering, weight 5lb. 15oz., in its lightweight leather guncase with some accessories
