completed in 2011 and constructed on a 1966 vintage B25 action, 23 5/8in. nitro monobloc barrels with three-piece fore-end, file cut sight rib with unmarked open sights and two folding leaf sights, ramp-mounted bead fore-sight with fold-over moonsight, hold-open toplever, manual safety with integral barrel selector switch, the action and furniture finely carved in high relief with scrolling acanthus leaves on a stippled background, surrounding game scene vignettes of an African bull elephant to the left, a Cape buffalo with an oxpecker bird to the right, the underside with a lion, scrolling banners to each side gold-inlaid in script 'JOSEPH LANG & SON', the triggerplate signed 'Jacoby', bright finish, 14 1/2in. boldly-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, engraved steel pistolgrip-cap (with trap) and including 3/4in. leather covered recoil pad, weight 8lb. 14oz., in a fitted brass-cornered leather case with gold-tooled red Joseph Lang trade label
