A BRITISH PATTERN 1908/12 CAVALRY OFFICER'S SWORD, UNSIGNED,
with narrow tapering straight 35in. blade (small number of light isolated stains), blind narrow fuller to both sides, the majority of the remainder etched with scrolls and arabesques together with the crowned 'GRV' device, marked 'PROVED' at forte, nickel bowl-shaped guard with honeysuckle engraving to the outer face, wire-bound shagreen pistol-grip (some age losses) and carved and engraved pommel-cap, complete with its leather field scabbard (finish worn)
