circa 1780, with triple-staged cannon-muzzled 16 1/4in. barrel, the top of breech deeply struck with London proofs and an 'I.B' below crown maker's mark, plain iron top-tang, radiused iron lock signed 'BINGHAM' in script below the pan (refreshed), borderline engraving and pointed tail, walnut hand-rail full-stock with carved apron around the top-tang, plain pierced brass sideplate, broad brass spurred brass heel-plate, brass lower tang (repaired) and bow, replacement iron ramrod
