A RARE 16-BORE FLINTLOCK DOUBLE-BARRELLED BRASS MAN-STOPPER PISTOL WITH FOLDING BAYONET, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
Belgian circa 1810, with heavy octagonal profile 3 1/2in. side-by-side barrels, moulded top-rib, folding 2in. semi-circular sprung bayonet below barrels released by the iron trigger guard bow, maker's mark 'I.M' to both barrels at breech, 'A.F.' and crown to left hand side, broad borderline and scroll engraved squared boxlock action, twin plain central hammers and frizzens, wishbone style safe mounted to the top-tang, chequered walnut semi slab-sided birdshead butt with shell carving at head, carved borders to the back edge, side-by-side trigger-blades and brass tipped iron ramrod mounted to right hand side of barrel
