French, circa 1790, with slightly shortened 7 1/8in. re-blued barrels, engraving at the breech-end and along rib (rubbed), deep eared sighting groove to top-tang, flat borderline and scroll engraved locks, lozenge-shaped pans, engraved hammers and frizzen-fronts, walnut full-stock florally carved around the top-tang and with carved borders around the furniture (inlet repair to fore-end tip), engraved iron long-eared butt-cap, pillar-fronted engraved iron trigger-guard tang and bow and later replacement iron ramrod
