circa 1795, with Spanish form 10in. sighted barrel engraved and moulded at the intersection, the breech-end signed 'LONDON' in script (rubbed), private proofs, flat bevel edged lock with stepped and pointed tail, 'KETLAND & CO' signature below pan, roller to the frizzen spring, walnut full-stock with slab-sided chequered bag-shaped butt, short-tailed domed brass butt-cap, rear side-nail with integral escutcheon, brass pillar-fronted trigger guard bow, turned brass thimbles and horn tipped rammer
