LEICESTER SQUARE LONDON' (rubbed, rib lifting), white metal poincon at rib-end marked 'SMITH'S PATENT', acanthus leaf engraved top-tang with gamescene, bar action locks signed 'SAM & C. SMITH PRINCES ST. LONDON' and with acanthus scroll engraving bracketed with gamescenes of rabbits and snipe, engraved hammers with detachable noses for Smith's Patent caps (nipples changed for conventional), walnut half-stock chequered at the wrist and fitted with 1in. extension in wood re-using original iron heel-plate, iron furniture pieces cleaned and complete with a brass tipped ebony ramrod
