probably French or Belgian circa 1830 (possibly converted from flint), with turned tapering banded blued 1 1/4in. cannon barrels, plain breeches, squared boxlock central hammer actions with moulded leading edges, concealed automatic triggers with exposed sliding teat-safes behind, bulbous bag-shaped walnut butts and strong traces of finish
