24in. nitro reproved barrel (converted from .30-06), the left side engraved ' MADE IN NEW HAVEN. CONN. U.S. OF AMERICA. WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL - WINCHESTER TRADE MARK - MODEL 70 - .30 GOV'T 06', with later engraving to the top in fine script 'KAL. .300 HOLLAND & HOLLAND', flip-up open sights, ramp-mounted bead fore-sight, the breech end and sight ring with fine acanthus scroll details, the muzzle end profusely engraved with swathes of fine acanthus work, the underside of the barrel marked 'A. Kind Gummersbach', Pre'64 action (dates to circa 1955), the receiver with further acanthus detailing and mounted with a Swarovski 4-12x50A Habicht telescopic sight, serial number M742917559, in quickly-detachable mounts, the bolt with ribbon and scroll detailing, chequered panels and a gold-inlaid floral disc to the bolt knob, gold-inlaid 'FIRE' detail, hinged floorplate with push button release and ribbon and scroll engraving, figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, fluted horn pistolgrip-cap, sling eyes, 13 3/4in. pull including 3/4in. recoil pad, weight 7lb. 15oz.
