A .177 BREAK-BARREL MAYER & GRAMMELSPACHER MGR MODEL 1 AIR-RIFLE, serial no. 975,
circa 1905, with two-stage 19in. smoothbore barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight blade, standing notch rear-sight, the left side of breech with 'MGR' circle trademark over 'PATENT', plain air-chamber reinforced at the jaws, moulded trigger unit, plain walnut straight-hand butt-stock, iron heel-plate, no provision for fore-end, the cocking link running in applied guide rails, older refinish with some shallow pitting
