A 12-BORE PERCUSSION DOUBLE BARRELLED SPORTING GUN BY STIRLING, CIRCA 1850, no visible number, 28 in. skelp twist barrels with two inset gold lines at breech and engraved with gamebirds, foliate engraved long fixed breech tang, borderline engraved back-action locks also attractively decorated with gamebird and hunting scenes, half stocked in maple with engraved iron mounts, worn overall, top rammer pipe and rod missing.
