Birmingham proved barrel (fore-sight absent), plain blued cylinder, open iron frame with borderline engraving and traces of colour, the circular recoil shield rotating sideways to expose a loading aperture, double action mechanism with guarded trigger and chequered bag-shaped walnut grip
