AN 11 MM PINFIRE LEFAUCHEUX TYPE UNSIGNED DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVER, CIRCA 1870, no visible number, with 6 1/2 in octagonal to round barrel (fore-sight missing), open top frame decorated with engraved geometric designs, fitted with ejector rod and hinged loading gate, six shot cylinder engraved to match the frame, two piece ebonised broomhandle style grips, attractively carved in relief with foliate and leaf patterns, lanyard ring to butt, a good pistol with sharp profiles and good grips, action slightly at fault.
