A WORLD WAR I BAYONET FENCING MUSKET, circa 1915, steel spring-loaded dummy bayonet with a button end, walnut stock with steel but-cap, hand-guard and under-lug to prevent the hand slipping back, worn with rusting in places, filled losses on the stock and loss to right side of stock by the barrel tang, good smoothly operating spring, unmarked and of unknown manufacture, 61 in. overall
