NO. 1223', the tubes engraved 'SIR JOSEPH WHITWORTH'S COMPRESSED FLUID STEEL', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 3/4 choke, some pitting, left bore dimension marginal, treble-grip action, automatic safety with brass 'SAFE' detail, border and scroll engraving with further engraved decorative steel side panels, gap to floorplate/triggerplate, brushed finish, 15in. replacement stock, bolstered fore-end wood, weight 6lb. 10oz.
