A .45 (L/C) SINGLE-ACTION REVOLVER SIGNED COLT, MODEL 'SERIES ONE SINGLE-ACTION ARMY', serial no. 22918, for 1876 and possibly altered from .476 Eley, with 7 1/2in. barrel signed on a single line, fluted cylinder, solid frame with cylinder retaining screw to front, the trigger guard marked 'CAL 45 B', smooth walnut grip, lanyard ring at heel and bullseye ejector, London black powder proofs, firing pin currently detached but present, minimal traces of nickel plating, complete with a period full-flap leather holster for same
