A PAIR OF PATTERN 1856 YATAGHAN SWORD BAYONETS circa 1860, with 23in. double-fullered blades, both with the 'knight's head' mark for Weyersberg of Solingen, Germany, on the ricasso, chequered black leather grips, one a modified P56/58, stamped '699 / O' on the pommel, and in good, clean condition together with its black leather scabbard, the other an original P56, worn with pommel pitted and no scabbard, both approx. 28in. overall
