circa 1945, with 32in. blade with etched scroll-work and royal cypher to both sides, one side additionally etched with 'GRIFFITHS, McALISTER / 10 WARWICK STREET / REGENT STREET LONDON', gilt metal half shell guard with pebble decorated pommel, square grip and knuckle bow, black leather scabbard with gilt brass mounts, together with a fraying sword-knot, good and clean with much original finish
