** A GEORGE IV PATTERN 1822 PIPE-BACKED INFANTRY OFFICER'S SWORD, circa 1830, with 30 1/2in. pipe-backed blade, brass hilt with Gothic guard incorporating the George IV cypher, inner folding guard, fish-skin covered wooden grip bound with copper wire, blade with staining and rust, and point damaged, guard badly miss-shapen, losses to the top of the grip, grip loose in the hilt
