CHARLIN 16-BORE 'AUTOMATIQUE' SLIDING-BREECH NON-EJECTOR, serial no. 32683, circa 1910, 26in. nitro barrels with sunken matted top-rib and sculpted sighting flat at the breech end, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 3/4 choke in both, right wall at 17, action bar with two rabbits, partially engraved with scrollwork, the fences with stylised floral designs, side safety, button barrel release (at fault), 14 3/4in. figured semi-pistolgrip stock, sling swivel and eye, weight 6lb. 3oz.
