A COLLECTION OF TIGER CLAWS, PERSONAL ITEMS AND ORIENTAL SEALS BELONGING TO SIR HENRY NORMAN M.P. comprising of an envelope containing a number of tiger claws from tigers Sir Henry shot on his travels (see notes and seal impressions on envelope), a Rosary from Korea with provenance label attached and a turned seal box containing three seals (possibly personal to Sir Henry), together with another oriental turned pot containing sealing wax and a further carved wood seal (qty)
Other Notes: These items were collected by the vendor's grandfather, Sir Henry Norman M.P. in or around 1880 during his world travels. Sir Henry later went on to pen the title 'The Real Japan' in 1892
