A 16-BORE FLINTLOCK SINGLE-BARRELLED 'POACHERS GUN', UNSIGNED, circa 1800, with 24 1/2in. round barrel, banded 5 1/2in. from the breech, border-lined lock with sparse floral engraving, walnut half-stock with key-hole joint at the wrist (possibly amateur produced), barrel with applied brass thimble, replacement ramrod (tip missing), the whole in worn condition, iron surfaces darkly stained
