A .577 SNIDER MK II TWO BAND RIFLE SIGNED TOWER, CIRCA 1870, no visible serial number, with 30 1/2 in. Birmingham proofed barrel rifled with three grooves, fitted with correct pattern ladder rear-sight replaced front-sight, borderline engraved lock struck with the Crown V.R. cypher on the tail and 'TOWER / 1870' to the centre, iron mounted full walnut stock basically sound, some pitting to barrel and mounts, with sling swivels and a replacement rod
