A RARE PRE-REGULATION REGIMENTAL BANDSMAN'S SWORD, circa 1820, with plain, double-edged 21 in. blade, brass hilt with raised cross-guard and lion's head pommel, together with an associated scabbard with steel locket, blade stained with edge nicks and surface rust to ricasso, lion's mouth loop broken and chain missing, scabbard unlikely to be original, with rusted locket and missing the lower 3 inches, 26 in. overall
