A GROUP OF THREE FRENCH BAYONETS, 1) Model 1847 socket, 17 in. triangular blade, inspection marks to elbow, missing locking ring, smoothed pitting 20 1/2 in. overall; 2) Model 1866 Chassepot, 22 1/2 in. single-edged steel blade fullered on each side, inspection marks on ricasso, steel cross-guard and quillion, brass hilt, together with its steel scabbard, blade with staining, pitting to exposed steel, 28 in. overall; 3) Model 1874, with 20 in. single-edged steel blade marked for St Etienne Arsenal and dated 1878, steel hilt nd cross-guard with inspection marks, wooden grips, bras hilt, worn, blade with rounded tip, no scabbard, 25 in. overall
