circa 1890, with round reblued 28in. barrel marked variously 'HENRY'S', 'PATENT' and with a 'rod of Asclepius' trademark, applied machine engraved top-rib with blade fore-sight and short 'Africa' style rear-sight consisting of two flush folding leaves, a standing notch and folding ladder, reblued scroll engraved receiver signed on the left 'FREDERICK T. BAKER, 98 FLEET ST LONDON' and further marked with the calibre designation and the serial number, the right side with large cocking/de-cocking lever, chequered walnut pistol-grip butt-stock, the heel with later hard rubber pad, the finger-lever extending beyond the grip and horn-tipped chequered fore-end with cross-wedge fastener, fitted with eyelets for a sling
