A BOXED .22 BREAK-BARREL AIR-RIFLE, MODEL 'METEOR MKII', serial no. TA07537,
circa 1962-63, with stove enamelled 18in. barrel, dove-tailed blade fore-sight (no provision for protector), elevating semi buckhorn rear-sight, enamelled air-chamber stamped with the model name and the BSA 'arrow' trademark picked out in gold paint, crimped front and rear dove-tails for telescopic sight, moulded plastic air-chamber end-cap, beech half-stock (some adhesion of packing materials to finish), the whole appearing unfired and retaining all its factory finish together with its original swing-ticket and makers card carton with compressed card support pieces, its original instructions, a sample of targets and its BSA 2x plastic telescopic sight in packaging as supplied (box distressed)
Provenance: Prospective buyers should note that BSA air-rifles from this period along with some other manufacturers products can suffer from degradation of seals and washers. Because of its external condition, this rifle has not been tested for functionality
